Solunar theory (John Alden Knight, 1926) is the most trusted method anglers use to predict peak feeding activity. Fish bite most aggressively when the moon is directly overhead (transit) or underfoot (anti-transit). Moon phase and lunar distance further refine each day's score. Core solunar forecasts work offline

Solunar ratings, feeding windows, moon data and calendars are calculated on your device, and catch-log entries are stored there. They remain available on the boat with no signal, at the lake at dawn and in airplane mode. Optional live weather and ad-supported surfaces use a connection when available.

Subscription terms

Solunar Fishing Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in App Store account settings. Local prices are shown before purchase and may vary by country or region. Existing one-time Pro purchasers keep lifetime Pro access after restoring purchases.

Privacy

Your location is used for on-device solunar calculations. When you use live weather, Apple Weather receives the location needed to return conditions. No account is required. Core solunar forecasts work offline.
